As the Managing Director of Operations- Research & Analytics, with V2 Global, Joe Wise is responsible for supervising the company’s research analytics and investigation operations.  With the background of a Juris Doctorate, he has extensive experience in due diligence, litigation support, asset searches, and international fraud matters, as well as providing public records and information research and analysis.  During his time in the industry, Joe has spent significant time in Panama, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico and has traveled extensively in the Caribbean, Latin America, and Spain on case-related matters.

 

Before joining V2 Global, Joe served a similar role with Andrews International and Allied Universal and was instrumental in the creation and growth of Verasys, LLC.  Joe also worked as part of IPSA International’s Miami office conducting investigations and consulting services in Florida, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

 

Previously, Joe worked as a Director with Kroll Associates, where he worked for over seven years in the company’s Miami/Latin American Regional headquarters. He served as a case manager for a variety of cases focusing on litigation support and complex litigation management, asset searching, business intelligence, intellectual property, and security consulting matters.  Working in Kroll’s Miami office provided Joe the experience of managing cases in the complex international marketplace including corporate contests, transactional due diligence, and related litigation, including work for multi-national Fortune 500 corporations, international financial institutions, and foreign governments in Latin America and the Caribbean.

 

Prior to joining Kroll Associates, Joe practiced commercial and maritime litigation with the firm of Aran, Correa & Guarch P.A. in Coral Gables, Florida for almost five years.  His legal experience and training provide him with an instrumental perspective and understanding of client needs and potential issues related to investigative assignments. 

 

Joe completed his undergraduate and post-graduate studies at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, earning a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and his Juris Doctorate.  Joe was awarded a Fellowship for Comparative Studies, spending the summer in Yugoslavia.  He has been a member of the Florida Bar Association since 1991 and is also a founding member and current member of the Latin American Polygraphers Association (ALP) since 1996.

 

Joe was born in Panama City, Panama, and is fluent in Spanish and English.
